تعمل وزارات الصحة على عدد من القضايا الهامة ومنها تنمية التعاون والتنسيق بين الدول الأعضاء وتحديد مفاهيم القضايا الصحية المختلفة.
يباشر مجلس الصحة لدول مجلس التعاون مع أعضاء الهيئة التنفيذية أعماله، حيث يضم مديراً عاماً وكادراً مكوناً من طاقم عمل فني ومالي وإداري.

- Manage a team of Leads of the Knowledge Sharing function within the Training and Capability Unit in the execution of the following activities:
- Establish knowledge sharing networks and tools (e.g. website, online forum, social media pages, email newsletter, virtual/in-person event schedules) for the Gulf-CDC with its member states to share best practices among public health professionals
- Develop reports in collaboration with the Research function to promote best practices in knowledge sharing to the member states
- Develop a database of stakeholders in each member state with a role in advancing knowledge-sharing initiatives in priority areas (e.g. clinicians, health system administrators, patient advocacy groups)
- Support the establishment of international partnerships for the Gulf-CDC through participating and networking at international scientific conferences in the public health discipline
- Support the Director, Training and Capability Building in working with the Technical Committee (including Country-Level Officers) and other Gulf-CDC units to ensure knowledge sharing activities are well aligned with the needs and expectations of the member states
Prepare Knowledge Sharing progress reports and documents for the Director, Training and Capability Building
- Qualification
- A level of education which corresponds to completed university studies attested by a Master degree or higher in the field of public health, epidemiology, medical education, medicine or another related area
- Nationality of one of the GCC Member States
- Experience
- At least 5 years of professional experience acquired in positions relevant to the job description
- Experience in managing small teams and/or in coordinating cross-organizational activities
- Proven people management experience and leadership
- Advanced experience in the organization of training activities, including e-learning
