Mission
Mission
To foster harmonization, build knowledge, and generate evidence to enable the prevention of communicable and non-communicable diseases, mitigation of public health emergencies, and promotion of healthy communities across the Gulf.
Center goals
Exchanging experiences, information and best practices in public health, to build common Gulf capabilities through theoretical and field training
Supporting members by providing scientific, technical and technical assistance
Development of preparedness systems to respond to health emergencies in the Gulf countries
Establish a common database to be updated periodically, and assess the risks and effectiveness of current interventions for preventive programs in public health
Promote the principle of cooperation in conducting research studies related to public health of priority and coordination among its members
Evaluation and development of joint monitoring systems
