The Gulf Health Council is participating in the World Health Exhibition, hosted by the City of Dubai from 9 to 12 February 2026, as part of its efforts to strengthen GCC health integration and showcase joint initiatives and programs that contribute to advancing the health system, enhancing pharmaceutical regulation efficiency, and supporting digital transformation in the health sector across Member States.
During its participation, the Council is presenting several leading GCC programs, including the Registration and Licensing Program, a unified system for registering medical products of all types to ensure their quality, efficacy, and safety—thereby reinforcing coordination and integration among Member States. The Council is also showcasing the Unified Procurement Program, which aims to unify the formulary of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and supplies, and to provide safe and effective medical products of high quality at fair prices—ensuring sustainable medical supply chains and strengthening GCC pharmaceutical security. In addition, the Council is highlighting the “Nashratak” system, which provides approved drug information leaflets in digital format, supporting the safe and rational use of medicines and improving access to reliable pharmaceutical information.
This participation reaffirms the Council’s pivotal role in supporting joint GCC health action, strengthening the international presence of GCC initiatives and programs, and exploring opportunities for cooperation and knowledge exchange with regional and global partners—contributing to the advancement of health services and the achievement of the highest standards of quality and efficiency across the GCC health sector.
