The Gulf Health Council commemorated Gulf Nursing Day, which falls on March 13th each year, by sharing designs that illustrate the role of the nursing profession and the efforts made by them, through its official accounts on social media platforms.
A single nurse helps about 7 people each day, and more than 200 million people receive this care daily. Moreover, a nurse walks approximately 8 kilometers in each shift, a distance longer than the one a professional runner covers in a 5-kilometer race.
The efforts of the Gulf Health Council are notable in activating Gulf health days and weeks, in addition to spreading awareness messages in the Gulf communities, which vary according to the need, time, and event. The council always ensures to deliver accurate health and social awareness information from its scientific sources and documented studies by accredited specialists in various fields.
