The Gulf Health Council for GCC countries concluded its participation in the seventh edition of the Global Health Exhibition under the theme “Invest in Health,” held at the Riyadh Exhibition and Conference Center in Mulham, north of Riyadh, from October 21 to 23, 2024.
During the council’s participation in the exhibition, a partnership agreement was signed with the Saudi Ministry of Health to establish a comprehensive and diverse health awareness library, as part of the “Waai Award,” to promote health culture within the Gulf community. Additionally, a cooperation agreement was signed with Lean Business Services to develop the “Wafid” platform to improve the user experience, offering innovative services and additional features for expatriates and medical centers to enhance the quality of healthcare.
The council’s participation included showcasing key pillars (prevention, awareness, development, health support) and introducing visitors to the council’s programs such as the “Wafid” program, central registration, unified Gulf procurement, and the “Nashratak” program, which aims to transform paper bulletins into updated electronic bulletins that are easily accessible. The council’s role in health awareness was also highlighted during the event.
The Gulf Health Council’s participation in the exhibition reflects its commitment to engaging in health gatherings enriched with expertise, institutions, and leading companies in the health sector from various countries around the world.
