In a pioneering step towards enhancing cooperation and integration, the Gulf Health Council on February 14 and 15, 2024, welcomed a delegation of representatives from the executive body members’ offices in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. The visit aimed to deepen mutual understanding and exchange expertise between both parties.
During the visit, a comprehensive presentation was given about the major projects and initiatives undertaken by the Council and the Gulf Centre for Disease Prevention and Control. The meetings witnessed constructive discussions on ways to enhance cooperation and integrate efforts to serve health objectives.
This visit is part of the Council’s continuous efforts to improve the level of health activities and programs serving the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, reaffirming the importance of joint work and ongoing coordination among various stakeholders. It emphasizes the significance of cooperation and the integration of efforts to benefit and develop the Council’s work in programs and activities of interest to the member countries in the Gulf health system and to enhance communication between the Council’s staff and ministry representatives.
